March 3 & 4 - South Carolina Charitable Services' Health Van was booked for these 2 days. It was however cancelled due to the heavy snowfall that started on March 2.
March 3 - Club Members PDG Joe and Lion Edith H Hughes attended a meeting of South Carolina Lions Eye Research Committee in Columbia, SC. The highlight of the meeting was that SC Lions had met their pledge to raise $500,000 over the 5 year period 2004 - 2009, for the MUSC Storm Eye Institute's project for 2 Endowed Professorships for special research.
March 12 and 26 - Club Meetings
April 3, 4 & 5 - 85th South Carolina Lions, MD-32, State Convention will be held at the Marriot Hotel in Spartanburg. Our very special guest will be our International President Al Brandel.
